Savage Side Bets is a scorekeeping app for golf side games, made and operated by Savage Vibe LLC (“we”). It tracks scores, bets and who owes whom for the people in a round. This policy explains what the app collects, why, and where it goes.

What we collect

• Account: your email address, used to sign you in with a one-time code. Sign-in is handled by Clerk.
• Profile: the display name you choose, the region you play in, and, optionally, your Venmo or PayPal username so other players can pay you.
• Round data: player names entered by the person who set up the round, hole-by-hole scores, the games and stakes chosen, and which transfers have been marked paid.
• Caddie text: if you use the Caddie feature, the description you type is sent to an AI model to draft the round setup or explain a settlement.
• Diagnostics: crash reports and basic device information (model, OS version) when the app fails, so we can fix it.

We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, or payment card details. Payments happen in Venmo or PayPal, not in this app; we only open a prefilled request.

How we use it

To run the app: keep scores in sync between your devices, show standings and settlements to the people in your round, and remember your profile. We do not sell personal information and do not show ads.

Who can see your round

The person who creates a round gets a join code. Anyone with that code can view the round's scores, standings, settlements and payment usernames on the card. Share the code only with the people playing.

Services we rely on

• Clerk — sign-in and account storage.
• Vercel — hosts the app's server.
• Neon — the database that stores rounds and profiles.
• Anthropic — processes Caddie requests. Only the text you type and the round's scoring data are sent.
• Sentry — receives crash reports.
• Venmo — opened on your device to make a payment; we never see your Venmo account.
• PayPal — opened on your device to make a payment; we never see your PayPal account.

Each of these processes data on our behalf under its own privacy terms.

Retention and deletion

Round data is kept so your ledger and history work. The person who created a round can delete it from the app, which removes its scores, bets and settlement records for everyone. You can delete your account at any time in the app under Profile → Edit → Delete account: rounds you created are removed, your name is unlinked from rounds you joined, and your sign-in is deleted immediately. Children

The app is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top moves and the current version stays at this address.
